What is a duo session in trip therapy and how does it work?

A duo session in trip therapy is a private, guided session for two people who want to explore an inner journey together. You share the setting and part of the experience while there is space for each person’s own process, intentions, and sensitivities. It suits partners, friends, family members, or any two people who know each other well.

The process starts before the session day. Both participants complete the intake for Triptherapie, which looks at goals, current well-being, medication, and possible contraindications. Based on this, you receive tailored preparation so the session can be aligned with your needs.

During the session, guidance adapts to what is needed. At times the focus is on shared experience, at other times on individual deepening in each other’s presence. For couples, it can be helpful to first give attention to personal work and then to the relationship, sometimes spread over two sessions.

A duo trajectory usually includes the intake, personal preparation, contact beforehand, the session itself, and integration afterward. Often one facilitator is sufficient, and a second can be arranged if extra individual attention is desired. Practical details such as location, facilitator, and costs are arranged during planning.

Hope this clarifies how a duo session works.
