Truffle trip therapy is a guided psychedelic experience using psilocybin truffles, usually offered as coaching rather than medical treatment. It centers on preparation, the session itself, and post-session integration.
What it involves: an intake and screening to discuss goals and risks; preparation of set and setting and intentions; a supervised session in a group ceremony, duo, or one-on-one format; and integration to reflect, apply insights, and plan next steps.
The focus is often on breaking unhelpful patterns, processing emotions, gaining self insight, and personal growth. It is not a quick fix and results vary. This is not the same as clinical psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, which is a regulated medical treatment model.
Safety matters: people with a history of psychosis or those on certain medications should be extra cautious and seek thorough screening. For a clear overview of screening, preparation, and integration, see Triptherapie. If you are interested, start with an intake to explore fit and safety.
